Humboldt County Goat Association's

PO Box 93, Ferndale Ca 95536

The Humboldt County Goat Association is located in Humboldt County, California. Our organization mission/goal is to promote the goat industry, provide information to our goat breeders, and Owners, potential new owner, youth, and educate the general public. We do this by providing educational seminars, on cheese, and soap making, meat cutting, production, Artificial Insemination, feeding and genetics to name a few. In addition by offering scholarships and competitions for our youth, setting up educational displays at our local fairs, and creating exhibit opportunities for our Adult and youth members, by providing our two open shows and supporting the open and youth goat show at our local county and district fairs.

The association will provide four events this year, and that event schedule keeps our members quite busy. We start our year with our goat Education Day on the 26th of April, then on to our cheese seminar date this year TBA the cheese seminar is a two day event and is taught by one of our members with 30 years of cheese making experience. In the last moments of Spring we hold our 2 day 4 ring ADGA sanctioned dairy goat the 31 of May and the 1 of June, and then our Boer Goat show the second weekend of June on Saturday June 7.

Our membership is and eclectic group of goat breeders, goat product producer, commercial dairy owners, hobby breeders, club wether breeders, 4-H leaders and members and those who are just interested in goats.
If you would like more information about one or all of our events, or would just like to be part of a fun group to spend some time with. Please contact us at: or just come to one of our meetings or events. We would love to hear from you, everyone is welcome.
